Spanish LNG and utility company Gas Natural sees key stakeholders sell shares to US fund

Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a US private equity firm, has agreed to buy a 20 percent stake in Spain’s Gas Natural Fenosa group, a leading liquefied natural gas operator, for 3.8 billion euros ($4.3Bln) from two current Spanish shareholders, energy company Repsol and the Criteria Caixa banking group.
