Woodside to acquire half of BHP Billiton gas assets in key offshore area of Western Australia

Woodside, operator of two liquefied natural gas production plans in Western Australia, has entered into a binding sale and purchase agreements with Australian resources company BHP Billiton to acquire half of its gas assets in the offshore Scarborough field and the Carnarvon Basin for future LNG production.
