LNG carrier owners report surge in work for spot charters amid rise in day rate to around $40,000

Three liquefied natural gas carrier fleet owners, Golar LNG, GasLog and Dynagas said their pooling arrangement experienced an increase in second-quarter business with 22 spot cargo voyages booked amid signs of a revival in the charter business.
