Japanese LNG shipments fall for fourth month led by reduced cargo deliveries from Middle East

Japanese liquefied natural gas shipments for July fell 5.4 percent in the fourth successive monthly drop as the world’s largest LNG importer reduced cargo deliveries from the Middle East by over 25 percent as its summer power use declined, with thermal coal shipments also falling more than 14 percent.
