Marathon Oil starts up new Equatorial Guinea platform to help extend LNG plant life-span

Marathon Oil Corp. of the US said it achieved first natural gas production through its new Alba field offshore compression platform in the waters of Equatorial Guinea, expanding the life-span of the West African nation’s LNG export plant.
