Fracking programme starts to test shale-gas potential in LNG-producing state of Queensland

Australian company Real Energy has started a hydraulic fracturing programme in the Cooper Basin shale and tight-gas play in southwest Queensland in an effort to boost the LNG-producing state’s natural gas resources.
