LNG equipment maker Air Products off-loads unit to German firm for $3.8Bln in cash to restructure

Air Products of the US, the leading maker of liquefied natural gas processing equipment, has sold its Performance Materials Division (PMD) to Germany’s Evonik Industries AG, a specialty chemicals and materials company, for $3.8 billion in cash.
