Tokyo Gas LNG pricing gives insight into Japanese system and spot cargo weakness

Japanese liquefied natural gas prices on an average three-monthly basis have dropped from $9.07 per million British thermal units to $8.58, still higher than the new basement price that appears to be the Japanese government’s monthly LNG spot cargo assessment.
