BG makes hostile $13Bln Origin bid amid LNG plan

BG Group appealed over the heads of Origin Energy management with an A$13.8 billion (US$13Bln) hostile takeover bid for the Australian coal-seam gas company as the UK company plans to develop an LNG-from-CSG business in Australia.
