US firm with Israel and Cyprus LNG plans also now focuses on UK Falkland Islands

Noble Energy, the US company with liquefied natural gas plans for the East Mediterranean offshore Israel and for the island of Cyprus, said it had acquired a 75 percent interest and operatorship of a licence to enable a 2015 drilling campaign offshore the UK's Falkland Islands.
