Woodside Petroleum closes $2.81Bln LNG asset purchases in Canada and Australia

Woodside Petroleum, the leading Australian liquefied natural gas project operator, has closed the $US2.81 billion purchase of stakes in Wheatstone LNG, Canada's Kitimat LNG and Australian oil assets from Apache Corp of the US.
