Canadian LNG project developer files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in US

Quicksilver Resources Inc., whose Canadian subsidiary is developing the Discovery LNG export project on the Campbell River in British Columbia, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection under US law.
