Boston Red Sox sponsor JX Nippon and Tokyo Gas plan LNG and power tie-ups

JX Nippon Oil and Energy, the liquefied natural gas player whose US unit is the 2015 sponsor of the Boston Red Sox baseball team, has formed a partnership with Tokyo Gas, the third-largest Japanese LNG importer, to boost gas-fired output by 2020 in Kawasaki, the city adjacent to Tokyo.
