UK bodies urge boost in LNG carrier, shore training

One of the main problems facing the LNG carrier sector is that some 5,000 extra ships’ officers will be needed by 2010 to cope with the surge in the number of ships trading, according to leading industry bodies that have produced a DVD to help personnel in the LNG delivery chain.
