LNG spot charter rates put at $55,000 a day for older ships and $70,000 for the newest

Charter rates for liquefied natural gas carriers in the short-term market were estimated at around $50,000 to $55,000 per day for older ships and $65,000 to $70,000 per day for the most modern tri-fuel, diesel-electric (TFDE) vessels.
