Canadian LNG developer faces debt default and US Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection

Quicksilver Resources, the Texas-based exploration and production company whose Canadian subsidiary is pursuing the Discovery LNG export project on the Campbell River in British Columbia, is close to filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
