Shell-PetroChina Australian LNG project cancelled in favour of feed-gas supply

Royal Dutch Shell has formally cancelled an Australian coal-seam-gas-to-LNG project near Gladstone in Queensland it was developing with PetroChina and their local subsidiary Arrow Energy in the face of high construction costs and the oil price slump.
