CEO of France's Total pledges to proceed with Russian Yamal LNG despite sanctions

French energy company Total is pressing ahead with the $27 billion Yamal liquefied natural gas project in the far north of Russia with its partners, Novatek and China National Petroleum Corp. despite pressure over western sanctions on Moscow related to the Ukraine crisis, the new Chief Executive Patrick Pouyanne said.
