GE awarded service contract for Peru LNG and propulsion order for Japanese carriers

GE Oil and Gas, a subsidiary of General Electric of the US, was awarded a long-term service contract for the plant driver equipment and some other facilities at Peru LNG, South America’s only baseload liquefaction plant, while GE's Power Conversion unit received a new order from Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) of Japan for propulsion systems for two LNG carriers.
