Eni cancels sale of LNG engineer Saipem as value of stake falls from $5Bln to $2Bln

Saipem, the Italian LNG and energy engineering company and builder of one of the world's newest liquefaction Trains, has seen its future put on hold by its parent company, Italy's oil and gas major Eni, because of the oil price plunge and Russia's cancellation of the South Stream project.
