Other Canadian LNG projects may follow lead of Petronas and put ventures on hold

The Canadian LNG province of British Columbia is contemplating the impact of the Pacific Northwest LNG project led by Malaysia's Petronas delaying its final investment decision for the $35-billion venture, citing among other reasons the viability of LNG projects in a world of slumping oil prices.
