Clarkson and Platou ship brokers with LNG desks proceed with merger amid headwinds

UK shipbroker Clarkson, with LNG carrier broking desks, said it was going ahead with its acquisition of Norwegian counterpart RS Platou for a total of 281.2 pounds ($440M) in mostly shares and loans amid current industry headwinds.
