BG delivers 44 LNG cargoes in quarter but overall profits drop amid more spot buying

BG Group's overall profit plunged 29 percent in the third quarter even as the UK company delivered 44 LNG cargoes, though it had to buy more spot cargoes in the market to replace volumes lost by a plant shutdown in Egypt.
