THIS WEEK: The oil numbers favour Japan as LNG imports surge over 10 percent

Japanese LNG imports jumped 10.5 percent in September, their biggest monthly surge of the year, though the tumbling prices linked to oil have not fed through yet as importers paid an average of $847 per tonne for deliveries.
