LNG equipment maker Siemens to acquire Dresser-Rand of US in $7.6Bln transaction

Siemens, the German LNG, energy and power equipment maker, has aqreed to acquire Dresser-Rand of the US in a transaction valued at $7.6 billion, strengthening the Munich-based firm's liquefaction technology and energy portfolio.
