Australian LNG company may fall short of majority for buy-back of shares from Shell

Woodside Petroleum, the largest Australian LNG plant operator, has indicated that its plan to buy back US$2.68 billion worth of its shares from Royal Dutch Shell may not succeed as it remained short of the 75 percent shareholder approval needed.
