Inpex or Japanese trading houses seen buying Australian Wheatstone LNG stake

Inpex Corp., the Japanese LNG developer, could be in the running to acquire the Wheatstone LNG project stake in Australia put on sale by Apache Corp. of the US after just buying Apache assets in the Gulf of Mexico.
