SNC-Lavalin of Quebec buys UK-based energy engineer for Canada's LNG boom

Canadian engineering SNC-Lavalin has agreed to buy UK-listed energy and contracting company Kentz Group for almost US$2 billion in cash to gain a foothold in the global LNG construction industry and the impending export project boom in Canada.
