Japanese LNG imports rise 2.3 percent as Asia-Pacific cargoes offset Mideast decline

Japanese LNG imports in April rose 2.3 percent as Middle East cargo numbers fell and deliveries from Asia-Pacific nations rose, and as the country entered its eighth month without any nuclear power generation - with the review process on restarts now set to drag through the summer.
