Coast Guard says first US FLNG export plant to be treated as waterfront facility

The US Coast Guard has ruled that the Excelerate Energy Floating Liquefaction Storage and Offloading Units (FLSOs) to be used in the Lavaca Bay LNG export project in Texas will not be subject to marine rules and will instead be treated as waterfront facilities.
