Japanese LNG imports decline slightly as supplies peak even without nuclear plants

Japanese LNG imports slipped slightly to 8.17 million tonnes last month, a decline of about 0.6 percent compared with the 8.23MT imported in the same period a year ago, as the nation's procurement of the fuel peaks even amid a complete nuclear energy plant shutdown.
