Canada's BC province to have LNG tax to a maximum 7 percent on liquefaction income

The Canadian province of British Columbia has outlined corporate income tax plans for the LNG industry being developed on the Pacific coast, with a maximum level of 7 percent payable once a project has recouped its capital costs, but the laws will not be voted in for at least eight months.
