Woodside to pay up to $2.5Bln for smaller stake in LNG project and field off Israel

Australian LNG player Woodside Petroleum has changed its previous agreement to buy a 30 percent stake in the East Mediterranean Leviathan LNG project and natural gas assets offshore Israel from Noble Energy and partners for US$1.2 billion and instead will buy 25 percent for up to US$2.5Bln.
