Technip appoints Harrison as its general counsel

The French company said Harrison would report to the Chairman and Chief Executive of Technip, Thierry Pilenko.

 

Prior to his appointment and since 2003, Harrison was general counsel of the Defence and Security Division of France’s EADS.

 

“The appointment of John Harrison to the Executive Committee with responsibility for legal affairs is confirmation of the importance that we and the Board of Directors of Technip attach to excellence in legal and compliance matters in our global business activities,” said Pilenko.

 

Harrison, aged 40, brings extensive experience to Technip having started his career in 1991 at the international law firm Clifford Chance, working consecutively in their London, New York and Paris offices.

 

From 1998 onwards he held senior legal positions in Airbus and in the EADS Group.

Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales since 1993, Harrison completed his academic studies at the University of McGill, Montreal, Canada.
