AMEC tables bid of over $3bln to take over LNG engineering company Foster Wheeler

AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, said it has agreed a provisional deal to take over the US LNG contractor Foster Wheeler (FW) for more than $3 billion in a shares and cash offer.
