RasGas of Qatar plans conversions of LNG carriers to meet new emission controls

RasGas Co. Ltd., one of Qatar's two LNG liquefaction companies with seven Trains in production, is planning to convert 14 of its LNG carriers from diesel-power to LNG propulsion to meet stricter emission standards from 2015.
