Imports of regasified LNG from Canadian terminal help US Northeast in blizzards

The US government said the Northeast of the nation has relied on regasified Canadian LNG to boost natural gas supplies and switched several power plants to burn oil instead of natural gas because of high demand to cope with the cold temperatures.
