Canadian tribes get federal funds to pay for expert opinions on Pacific NorthWest LNG

The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency has allocated its first funding to five native tribes in the province of British Columbia, known as First Nations, to support their participation in the federal assessment of the planned Pacific NorthWest LNG project being developed by Malaysian energy company Petronas.
