Inpex Corp., the Japanese LNG project developer in the Asia-Pacific region, and China National Offshore Oil Corp. subsidiary Nexen Energy, along with the largest Japan-based LNG engineering firm, JGC Corp., plan to build an export plant on the Pacific Coast of British Columbia.
