Alaskan LNG project chooses site close to plant that supplied Japan for over 40 years

The South Central Alaska LNG project, backed by three oil majors and aimed at using the huge North Slope conventional natural gas reserves, has chosen a site for a liquefaction plant after widespread field studies carried out in the summer.
