IEA warns Asian nations about security for LNG and oil tankers in Malacca Straits

The Malacca and Singapore Straits constitute the most important waterways in the world and because of their rising use by LNG carriers and more oil tankers the International Energy Agency said any disruption of shipping traffic would have negative consequences for regional and global energy markets.
