Australia holds US-style debate on LNG exports versus domestic supply and prices

The most senior executive for BG Group in Australia, Catherine Tanna, said that if LNG development projects had not arrived in Queensland to build coal-seam gas liquefaction plants then energy in the state would still be a "cottage industry operating in a small domestic market."
