THIS WEEK: Tightness in global LNG markets is set to persist for rest of this year

Global LNG markets remain tight. Supply has not increased, despite the start-up of two liquefaction plants in Algeria and Angola in the first half of this year, and robust LNG consumption in Asia and Latin America has forced many cargo diversions away from Europe.
