Atlantic LNG carrier charter rates rise over $100,000 a day amid some output problems

Liquefaction plant production problems affected the Atlantic Basin LNG carrier charter market and resulted in reduced demand in the early part of the second quarter, though during July rates for modern ships rose again to above $100,000 per day, Golar LNG said in its quarterly shipping report.
