European Union finances advance of imported LNG supplies to the Baltic states

The European Investment Bank, the long-term lending institution of the European Union owned by its member states, is lending 87 million euros ($112m) to Lithuanian energy terminal company, Klaipedos Nafta, for the construction and operation of its new LNG import facility located in the Baltic port of Klaipeda.
