Total increases stake in LNG developer Novatek amid Russian project overhauls

France's Total has increased its stake in Novatek, the second-largest Russian natural gas producer and developer of Yamal LNG, in a week that has seen an overhaul of Russian plans for large-scale liquefaction plants from the Arctic to the Far East.
