Portfolio player BG delivered 49 LNG cargoes in quarter for $742M in profits

BG Group said its LNG shipping and marketing division's first-quarter total operating profit rose 3 percent to $742 million, as the benefit of lower hedging losses was partially offset by fewer deliveries, especially to Chile.
