LNG17 hears Texas LNG export plant could supply UK with its LNG instead of Qatar

 Investments in new liquefaction capacity from the US may provide Qatar with greater commercial and political value than investments in new Qatari LNG capacity, according to a report released at the LNG17 conference in Houston by energy consultants Wood Mackenzie.
