Egyptian Damietta LNG plant confirms shutdown and further tightens global supply

The Egyptian Damietta LNG plant, one of two operated in the country, has shut down because feed-gas is being diverted by state energy companies to the local market as demand continues to rise in Egypt and other Middle East nations.
