Japanese energy company Inpex said its Australian Ichthys LNG project in Australia was firmly on track for 2016 start-up as it held a steel-cutting ceremony at Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea for what will be the world's largest semi-submersible platform when it is deployed in the Browse Basin.
